The Spades are presented at random intervals throughout the year by the members of The Bad Report Supporters Club (BRSC) Awards go to individuals or organisations who put their own commercial or political interests above the safety of humankind and planet earth. The Spades trophy is a three-quarter sized, real garden spade, made from polished stainless steel with a solid Ash handle and the name and manifest failings of the awardee engraved on the blade. The trophy is both beautiful and useful unlike most of those who are nominated for the awards.
